Tiamulin Hydrogen Fumarate USP 45%
Mode of Action
Tiamulin is usually a bacteriostatic antibiotic, but can be bactericidal in very high concentrations against susceptible organisms. The drug acts by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit, thereby inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis.
Indication
Used for the treatment & prevention of Mycoplasmal and other infections of poultry like CRD, CCRD, Sinusitis, Airsacculitis, Enteritis & Pneumonia etc.
Dosages & Administration
Treatment:
In drinking water: 25-30 mg/ kg Body Weight or 1 g/ 2 L drinking water for 3-5 days
In feed: 30-40 g/ 100 kg feed for 5-7 days
Or, as directed by registered Veterinarian/ Consultant.
Withdraw Period
For meat: 03 (three) days, For egg: Nil (Zero)
