Each 100 mL oral solution contains Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride USP equivalent to 10 g of Ciprofloxacin.
Mode of Action
Rocipro Vet (Ciprofloxacin) is a broad-spectrum bactericidal antibiotic of second generation quinolones. The major mechanism behind the bactericidal property of this drug is the inhibition of bacterial DNA gyrase, a special type-II topo isomerase enzyme that specially introduces a negative supercoiling into the bacterial double stranded DNA molecule. As result, bacterial cell division and multiplication cannot occur.
