Composition
Licorice tincture, Andrographis paniculate, Allium L. extract, Echinacea tincture, Cinnamon bark oil, Vitamin D3, Vitamin E, Glyceryl polyethylene glycol ricinolate, Glycirrhizic acid ammoniated.
Mode of Action
Licorice tincture: The antiviral action of licorice's main components, glycyrrhizin and glycyrrhetinic acid, is considered multi-faceted and involves interference at different stages of the viral life cycle. It prevents the virus from entering host cells. It is directly or indirectly inhibiting the binding of the virus's spike protein to the host cell receptor. Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme 2 (ACE2) produce from Licorice can interfere with the processes
necessary for the virus to multiply inside the cell, such as inhibiting viral polymerase activity.
Echinacea tincture: Echinacea components can inhibit the hemagglutination (HA) activity of the virus, suggesting they bind to the viral surface glycoproteins (likehemagglutinin or neuraminidase) and prevent the virus from attaching to the host cell receptors.
Andrographis paniculate: It inhibits viral entry and viral replication. It also inhibits viral protease enzyme thus prevent protein maturation and effectively halting the formation of new infectious virions
Cinnamon bark oil: Cinnamaldehyde can directly interact with and damage virus particles before they enter a host cell
Allium L. extract: Blocking the attachment of the virus to the cell surface receptors or inhibiting the virus's penetration into the cell.
Vitamin D3 & Vitamin E: Increase Immunity
